Our Sydney screening was sold out. Now this special event is coming to Brisbane for one night only, 18th November.
Our current global economic system is not working for all people. Over the last 50 years, only 5 out of 170 countries have achieved the goal of 'development'. This film will show you why. Jubilee Australia is pleased to be partnering with Cinema Libre Studio to bring you this special event.

- followed by drinks and canapes to launch Jubilee Australia's new campaign: Digging to the Roots of Poverty
Tickets $30 Standard / $25 Students, Pensioners
- tickets must be purchased in advance as seats are limited
- funds raised will be invested into the important research and lobbying work of Jubilee Australia
About the film:
A film narrated by Martin Sheen, and featuring Nobel Laureates Amartya Sen and Joseph Stiglitz, and many others. The End of Poverty was an official selection at Cannes, and has picked up awards all over the international film festival circuit. Dubbed 'an inconvenient truth for global economics', it is the first film 'to succinctly explain how our economic system has created poverty and why it is the foundation for the current financial crisis.' The End of Poverty? will be opening in US Theatres November.
