Jess joined Jubilee in February 2026. She has an academic research background in ecology and conservation, with the past decade focused on marine protected areas and climate-adaptive management. Jess is passionate about using data to support environmental protection and empower communities in defending their rights and livelihoods.

Jess has a PhD in marine biology from James Cook University (2016) and worked as a Research Associate prior to joining Jubilee. She lives in western Victoria and loves spending time out in nature, especially running trails and climbing peaks.
