Mahealani started with Jubilee in August 2025 . Prior to joining Jubilee, she worked in campaigning, community engagement, research, policy and communications roles at Greenpeace Australia Pacific, the Australian National University and the Queensland Government. She is deeply shaped by her Papua New Guinean heritage and has long been passionate about global issues of justice that impact the region. Her hope is to be able to serve communities and the lands and waters that they are a part of through this work. She holds a Master of Environmental Management and Development, Bachelor of Business Management, and a Bachelor of Arts. When she's not working, Mahealani loves not sitting in front of a screen and instead being outside in the ocean or with the trees!
