Suhailah joined Jubilee Australia in August 2024. She has a transdisciplinary research background, spanning neurobiology to the intersection of climate change and mental health. Her research journey has been informed by her own lived experience and passion for equity and social justice, and she takes a holistic approach to understanding and addressing complex problems. Hailing from Fiji, she is deeply committed to Pacific communities, and amplifying the strengths, leadership and wisdom of the Pacific in our fight for a safe climate and just future. Suhailah holds a Bachelor of Science in biology, a Master of Philosophy in neuroscience and a Doctor of Philosophy in psychiatric epidemiology.
