Jubilee Australia and CELCOR in this report connect two vital issues facing PNG: the need to improve energy access for the vast majority of PNG’s population, and PNG’s response to climate change and meeting its commitments to the Paris Climate Agreement. This report demonstrates that PNG already has the critical ingredients it needs to build an accessible and climate-conscious renewable energy future and identifies actions and priorities that can enable it.
