FOSSIL FUEL PUSHERS (2021)

This report finds that over the past decade, public financial institutions overseas have pumped $AUD36.7 billion into Australian fossil fuel projects, with the top three supporters being Japan, China and Korea. The paper also finds the Morrison Government is deliberately preventing efforts to turn off the tap for this type of overseas financing by playing a blocking role at international negotiations at the OECD.
