TEN YEARS WITHOUT A CROP (2023)
This case study, the first in a series co-published with ACT NOW!, looks at the Wammy Forest Clearance Authority in PNG's West Sepik Province. The case study reveals how a Malaysian logging company has used a Forest Clearing Authority (FCA), intended to allow land clearing for agriculture or other land use projects, as a front to export hundreds of thousands of cubic metres of round logs.
